Default Car stereo question

Anybody have any idea why after letting off of the FF or Rewind function in my automobiles stereo, my homemade(Nuendo)Cds get quite a bit louder and then after about 1 seconds time they come back down to normal volume.

What does that mean? After FF when the music starts its loud because the attack time is accounted for? Please elaborate. Take a guess.

If you home-make a CD on another machine, does it still do it? I seem to remember a player doing this trick a long time ago. Sounds like the player's problem with a lack of subcoding. OK, I made this up. Still, sounds like you homemade ones lack some data that the player is looking for but can't find.

Thanks Garageband. I havent played a cd from another machine yet as i only have one computer and a stand alone Sony RCW 500 that i havent used for some time.

You think getting the cds to redbook format would be the possible solution?

I think so. Modern CD players will try to play anything you put in them and have ways to try to make it happen. The volume thing is probably an artifact of your CD player having to work really hard to play your CD.
