Audio Separation In Mastering

Also when mastering how do I get that clear separation of sound, I bought Ozone and have various Eq's but man its really hard to get that industry standard sound and levels.

You've been duped in regard to the mastering process.

It's pretty much impossible to separate something once you've already combined all the elements. This separation comes in the arrangement, tracking, and mixing stages. There are a zillion concepts that I go into in my home recording book.
