Quality: 10
I haven't seen anything built better than this (only in far away price ranges). The whole thing is made of quite thick aluminium. Really sturdy. All the connections and buttons seem pretty high quality. Reliability: 6 If I was reviewing this simply based on my experience on my mac, I'd give it a 10, no brainer. The onl thing I had to o was drag the app to the app folder and plug the XD-2 in. Then along came Windows. Windows Vista - forget it, they don't even have drivers for it. With Windows XP, I've never been able to make it work. Install drivers, it works, then stops working... Well, as I never use my Windows machine for audio recording it doesn't bother me. Overall Rating: 8 If you have a mac - don't even blink. If you're in Windows... Well, I would't recommend it. |
