Is The E-MU 1212M PCI The Right Audio Interface For You?
Find the audio interface that is perfect for you on the Home Recording Soundcard Wizard.

E-MU 1212M PCI Description
The E-MU 1212M PCI Digital Audio System is a set of two PCI audio cards configured with premium-class converters, high-quality I/O, and versatile DSP processors for professional audio processing. It boasts a sample rate of 24-bit/192kHz with the same A/D converters used in Digidesign's flagship Pro Tools HD 192 I/O interface. The DSP chipset gives you hardware-accelerated effects and digital mixing. The drivers will let you seamlessly work with your favorite PC audio/sequencer software. Whether you are recording full-blown productions or running virtual instruments on a dedicated computer, the E-MU 1212M is a great solution for any application that only requires a couple channels of premium analog I/O (i.e. mastering, remixing, and running virtual instruments).

Its build is good, sounds good and achieves what its supposed to do.Nice effects, though I do not use it much.
Good for the price though

Reliability: 0
But I've run into problems also with it.
The analog i/o has noise on the inputs.I dont know how to solve it.Had to change the card slots on the machine because of conflict with the pci id.
Support not very helpful............

Overall Rating: 0
Would by a better product.

Quality-8
Good build,sounds awesome.extremely low distortion.
Limitation-number of Adat channels @ 48khz and above.the only difference between this and emu 1820m , besides the dock.

Reliability-10
Never had a problem with the newer drivers.it does take a while to get used to the patchbay and control panel.

Overall-9
Very well priced card for the features it offers.stable drivers,a good interface in the end.
