Compare the best prices from all over the web on Shure Drum Mic Package Drum Mic Package

Shure Drum Mic Package Drum Mic Package Description
No other drum mic kit compares with the Shure Drum Mic Package. This complete core package includes three SM57 microphones, one BETA 52 microphone, three A56D drum-mounting systems, and a lightweight and durable carrying case. Components purchased separately would list for over $850.

Quality: 10
Just can't plain beat it. You get quality 57s and a quality 52 with the mounting hardware for an incredible price.

I bought this to mic my studio drums. Still using this kit along with a 421 and 112.

Reliability: 10
What else can you say about the Shure 52 and Shure SM 57?

Overall Rating: 10
Buying these mics individually would cost considerably more than by buying it as a kit. I highly recommend it, even if you just need 3 57's, it's almost like have the 52 kicked (ok, bad pun) for free.

when i first got this, i was incredibly excited for the rim clips that come with it. however, you find yourself locked into undesirable mic positions quickly. i spent entirely too much time trying to get one situated as i needed it.

also, having it clipped to the rim can create additional noise. one crappy artifact that i noticed was cap vibration when clipped to drum that was struck.

putting it on a stand fixes all of those issues. i've been using a beta57 on snare top, and sometimes a 421 on the floor tom...so these 57's are ending up on guitar cabs, and they're perfectly happy there.

rating this on a value, there are 3 pretty useless pieces of metal that you're paying for..but a beta52, 3x57s, and a nice carrying case are worth the $400 US i paid for it.
