Windows 7 - Using Cubase LE and Presonus Firestudio

Hey guys ...

I'm looking to upgrade my Vista machine to Windows on Oct 22 when it arrives. Before I do so does anyone know if i have to install new drivers or anything. Right now i have Cubase LE and the Presonuis Firestudio working perfectly on Vista.

I am honestly hesitant on upgrading because it took me so long to get it working on Vista.
Do i just upgrade and everything works as is? or is there more work involved.

Gateway Sx2800-01 Quad Core Processor.
Cubase LE
Presonus Firestudio
Plugins and whatnot

Anyone running this or have any suggestions to keep Vista or to upgrade to 7.

Someone asked about this a few weeks ago. What I have been able to find on the subject is limited but it may help. Microsoft is saying that they have integrated an "XP Mode" into Windows 7. What that means is you can run the programs you want on the Windows XP platform, in case there are any issues on 7. You have to go to the Microsoft website and download a few things in order to do this but the downloads are free and should save you a headache or two if there are any compatibility problems with the Windows 7 platform.

im sure there will still be some hiccups at first but ive heard alot of good things about 7 from people who ran the beta version. im in the same senerio, i just purchased a new pc and i just got all my stuff to work 98% of it and im considering the free upgrade but am in the same boat thinking damn am i going to go thru the same problems, but after reading that they are running the xp compatabilty function im alittle more at ease.
