I'm thinking of getting the 8 mike input, prosonus firestudio for my laptop ( toshiba satelite 215, 7200 RPM SEAGATE Drive, Reaper software ) the firewire connection is a 4 wire ( i-port ) will this work?, has anyone used this type of connection? what kinda of issues can I expect going this route?:
