I went with this and have been very happy: Buy PreSonus FireStudio FireWire Recording Interface online at Musician's Friend
If you didn't need the ADAT ins/outs I'd probably recommend going with either of these: Buy PreSonus FP10 FireWire Recording Interface online at Musician's Friend Buy PreSonus FireStudio Project online at Musician's Friend I've been really happy with the Presonus gear I've purchased. Brandon

I'd give up on "mastering plugins". They are the same thing as regular plugins. They've created this artificial/imaginary category to trick newbies into buying crap they don't need. (Oh, we'll put an eq, compressor, and limiter in the same package and call it a "mastering plugin"). It's called a "channel strip". If your CPU is up for it, I've really liked the Antress stuff I've tried. I came close to snagging a couple UAD-1 cards used off of Ebay for $200 although I've been considering snagging a Liquidmix as well. My advice would be to buy one plugin at a time. One really good EQ for $200 and one really good compressor for $200 is money well spent. Of course, these had better be VERY good. I think there is a flaw to buying plugin packages sometimes. Brandon
