 Need Help Getting Started
I am wondering if I can purcahse a name brand computer at Best Buy, Comp-USA or some other "Big Box" store to begin building my home studio. What should I look for in these type stores? I know little about computers. I plan to mainly record by using my keyboards and wind controllers. I will also record woodwind instruments ocaisionally. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Of course you can. You will just pay more for less than you would with a white box computer. For an amateur recordist, most any modern computer will do. I actually use a notebook for recording. You should choose whatever you like. |
