Default Macbook

alright so i got logic studio (I know it's much more than I need but I'm planning on being in this for the long haul) right now I'm using it on my new MacBook and I was wondering if I should upgrade from 2 to 4 Gb of RAM I don't do anything that's really complicated just classic rock kind of stuff. It works fine now but I've only scratched the surface of what I'll be doing on it.

Ram really comes into play if your using lots of drum loops or sample based VSTi's. If you have lots of tracks with lots of effects that will start to eat up your RAM as well.

The real answer is: get more RAM if you need it. The way to tell if you need it is to build up a big project and then open the Project Information window (found under the Options menu) to see how memory you're using. Toss on a bunch of effects and see how much it takes to max out the RAM you have.

Good advice! I wouldn't automatically upgrade until I was sure I needed to.
