Mac users who don't have problems aren't doing real work. Admittedly, that accounts for a lot of Mac users, and is why their satisfaction rate is so high.

I've seen more of those Mac restart your computer in five or six language messages than I've ever seen BSOD's.

You could at least try to be funny. John Hodgman's funny. Funny enough to get me to buy a PC. Buy I would have ignore the dozens of threads on this forum breathlessly wondering why their PC won't work.

I edited a feature length documentary on a Mac, it finally blew up - literally! A loud "POP" and it was done. It was still on extended warranty (3 days left!) and everything except the hard drive was replaced. Bought a new single quad core machine to finish the job, and HAD to spend over $1500 upgrading Final Cut Pro and related plug-ins. Then this new machine developed a habit of simply shutting off. Spent at least 80 hours on the phone and driving to and from the repair clinic. Here at my house, we get viruses on the PC and the Mac craps out on its own. In my book Mac guys don't have any reason to boast...

Okay, John Hodgman? He's in the Mac ad. He wouldn't be trying to sell you a PC. Pay more attention next time or just stop drinking the Coolaid.
