The easiest thing usually is to check that the Administrator user is open.
This is accessed by, at the login screen press ctrl+alt+del, and in the username box type try "Administrator", and try the password as blank at first. If that doesnt work, try "Administrator", "Admin", "Compaq" (Or whatever your make is) in the password field. If none of this works, message back, there are ways to recover the passwords, but they take a bit more knowledge, and possibly the use of Linux. ![]() |

Just wondering: does that ctrl+alt(+delete*2) work on the welcome screen?
'cause if it does not, push F8 during boot-up, select "Safe Mode" and then try the Administrator login.
