basically your computer cant keep up with what you're asking it to do, hence the warning message. you never mentioned your choice in operating system and although a 1.8 processor is bordering on too slow, you definitely need way more ram. also try dropping your bit rate and increasing your buffer size.

hey thnx man so far thats worked.and thnx for not ripping me apart.i will be upgrading as well oh im using XP Pro. anything better to run daws or studio envirements. ????

so far windows xp has proven to be better for daws than most other operating systems. from what i hear, windows 7 is pretty good too but i cannot confirm this.

You pretty much have no choice but to upgrade your computer. More RAM at least and probably a faster hard drive. 7200RPM or higher. XP is fine. RAM and HD's are cheap compared to a lot of recording gear these days. |

thnx everyone so, i went and got 2 .1 gig ram bars ive ordered a 2.8p.my boards maxxed until i get the proc.oh !what would be the max ram for a 2.8?and finaly ive had a good idea what cpu was but, now im not sure.and does a good vidio card matter for recording? you guys are awesome i soon hope to one day freely help and give this info away as well ,oh one more thing can anyone tell me how to upload so, i can get feedback

A good video card doesn't matter too much. But you typically do want an independent one/ or separate card. The ones that come built on to motherboards often steal memory and CPU time, that is how they are often so cheap. So you want to avoid those.
