Exclamation GPU(Video Card) into DSP

Does anyone here know of any software out there that can turn my GTX260 gpu into a decent DSP. I urgently need this I have done some digging but haven't come up with anything. It seems as though a very select group of people know what the hell I am talking about. Hopefully it will be different here. Thank you to all who reply.

I dont understand.. do you mean to somehow turn your GPU into an FX processor or something like that?
I haven't heard of this and it sounds to me like science fiction

Yes, that is what I mean. I understand that many tests have been done on gpu's as a DSP. Yet I can never find the software that they use. I am currently attempting to use Nvidia's CUDA technology. "Science Fiction" - I think not, I understand that a GPU cannot perform just as good as a DSP. Yet I am almost certain that I will perform faster than my CPU. I am currently running an Intell Q6600 2.4 Ghz Quadcore... Still waiting for help.

Im curious... What kind of signal processing are you looking to achieve from your 'cuda (when this elusive software is dicovered) that you dont feel you can get from the q6600?

in case you havent read this thread..
KVR: ** Audio effect processing on your video card **

Maybe there is some truth to this but I have to say, Im in agreement with most of the skeptics in this thread.. but perhaps theres info in there that will help you. From what I can gather.. there was a lot of speculation.. but nothing manifested

everything I found has been on bionicfx and it did sound like the AVEX technology was taken seriously and appeared to have high potential.. all information about it however, appeared to abruptly halt in 2004... I dont think anything came of it.

I'm assuming that special code would have to be written to utilize your DSP power. While certainly possible, I've never heard of anyone doing this.
