I am just about ready to do the same. I have only had the Alesis for about 6 months and hate to have to invest my hard earned $$$ all over again. Oh well.

Alesis Does Support 64 Bit XP and Vista as of now!!!!!!!!!
Goto alesis.com and download the new driver. It works perfectly on my Vista 64 Bit machine. I have a 64 bit version of Cubase 5 installed and it's awesome. I have an Alesis Multimix Firewire16. Spread the word to any forums you know of.
Thanks
Jazzman

I believe they only released (just last week) the drivers for Firewire, not USB Hopefully it is a step in the right direction. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am currently using my MultiMix 16 USB 2.0 with regular audio cables. It is better than nothing. Sonar 8.0 really kicks ass in x64 mode

I've emailed them and haven't even gotten a reply. Let me know if you have better luck. To get the drivers, the hell with email, I would send tech support a dozen roses and a strip-a-gram

Great News!!!!

Alesis just emailed me the 64bit USB drivers (versio 2.8.17) and the installed with no problem on Windows 7 X64. If anyone needs them (I have not found them on the website) let me know and I will email them to you.

Hey Shrink57
Please send Alesis a very nice thank you note. I feel if we can slam them for not supporting stuff then we also need to thank them when they do.
My Alesis Multimix16 Firewire is flawless in Vista Ultimate 64 Bit.

I would like a 64 bit driver aswell, I am running a Multimix16 usb 2.0 and XP64, the UK Alesis office said they don't have the driver as yet, I don't know who else to chase up, shrink57 If I could use yours it would be a great help.

Can you e-mail it to me?, shall I Pm you my address?

Hey guys.
So glad I'm not alone in this! Just upgraded to win7 for the RAM beef up, and found the awful truth: still no 64 bit usb2 drivers on the website. I've emailed alesis twice in the last week and received an identical automated response each time.

Anyone willing to email it to me if I pm them my email?

Lachie
