yo man you cant get a template and do your mix mix is all about talent, creativity and time.. nevertheless i can give you some tips, but you should do play by urself and adjust what your ear feels ps: you may want to listen to a pro recording music in the same field as the one you gonna mix before starting your mix. for a listenable mix, you should even out your mix, go on edit view, on the tracks where you got your vocals, adjust all the waves to same db. then you go back to multitrack view, use your panning and volume to have the beat and the vocals merge out. for your main vocals (pan either R5 or L5) [you choose your mix either left or rite] background vocal should be opposite main vocal ( either R25-35 or L25-35) adlibs { either R15 or L15) add some reverb, not too much about 10% wettness, and bout110ms for the delay time id say it again, your ear only can give you the good mix!!!!theres no one template mix for two songs!!! one thing i forgot to tell you, you may want to mixdown all your vocals on one track after you even everything out and done the panning and db even out shiit ( even everthng out is when you make all the waves of the same length).. after which you make a mixdown to one track of all the vocals... then you will have one track for vocal in your multitrack view, and one track for beat. then for your vocals, you may want to do some noise reduction, eq, and compression. thats for a simple mix man..for you to make some people be able to understand your tune. theres loads of tutorial you can get on the net...fo to a search engine n type ''tutorials for mixing beats/vocals, and you will come up with loads of them if just today i signed in this site.. to look for some new things to learn too man.. bless kenjee kennedy Mauritius Islands |

there is no quick and easy 'fix'. its something that takes time and experimentation.
