Default Problem with Xena audiocard

Hi guys,

I installed Audition 3 yesterday. But I'm having troubles with it. When I look into the Hardware Settings, my AJA ASIO driver is selected but I only get outputs but in my input settings there's nothing in it.

I tried the output and that's fine it's just my input that isn't recognised. Although it's the same card and there are inputs on it.

So if anyone has an idea how to solve it, it would make me very happy :-)

That's an interesting problem. Generally when you get outs you should get ins as well.

I'd do the usual generic stuff. Redownload the latest drivers. Reinstall. Restart 4 times (seriously). Then see where that gets you. This is a weird one. When a problem seems irrational I usually start out with irrational troubleshooting.

I tried the "irrational" troubleshooting but after 4 reboots and after 4 restarts of the system, it's still the same.

However...

I did find out one extra little thing. My card has 8 ins and 8 outs, but in Audition I see 16 outs. So my missing inputs are being seen as outputs.

So that's probably a driver problem so I contacted AJA to ask the question, however they haven't reacted yet.

If anyone has some other idea on how to resolve this, please let me know.

I already tried ASIO4ALL but that only gives me the onboard audiocard and not the Xena-card.
