hello to everyone im a newbie here and this is my first time to post a thread..my name is rovic. also, i am a newbie when it comes to recording and other stuff like this.i just started doing this last month and now im on the process of learning through the help of this very nice forum and to you guys...recently i downloaded adobe audition 3 and installed it in my pentium 4 pc..i also got a free software called ezdrummer but unfortunately i think i was not able to install it successfully.i cant find an icon in the desktop or in the installation folder to open ezdrummer... can anyone of you help me with this??i really liked ezdrummer when i read all the reviews about it. im sorry if my english is not good... |

ezdrummer is NOT a standalone program; it is what is known as a VST or virtual instrument. once installed you will not see any desktop icon because you need a host program to run it. adobe audition does offer vst support and although you can use it to run ezdrummer, it is very limited. if memory serves me correctly, ezdrummer can only be used in stereo within adobe audition and not in multitrack mode. I cant remember exactly how to insert ezdrummer into audition but I will have a look later when I get home from work and post the answer here if no one else has done so.
