My problem is that when i records vocals , it records off beat. and when i have to over dub , it records off beat as well.
I'm not an Audition user, but I'd search the manual for some kind of "latency compensation" setting. Most software does it automatically.

What audio interface are you using?

Just move the voice track back a little on the timeline. you might have to use the zoom tool.

I had that issue and had to fix it using trial and error.

I don't I've ever successfully done this one. I can never seem to get the vocal in perfect time. I've spent as long as 2 hours doing this for a dude. It never felt right. If we got one phrase in time it seemed like another phrase was out of time.

It a latency issue. I've had it happen a few times and have moved it it forward back into place. You just have to change your program's laency settings and hope that your computer can handle the changes.

Is there no automatic latency compensation in Audition? Cubase does this by default.

Generaly under preferences of sorts. I'm not familiar with your program.
