hey yall i'm wondering what i need to record more than one track at a time? i currently have a 6 channel mixer lined into my pc (on board soundcard). what i want to be able to do is have 2+ mics recording at a time, but want to be able to arm a track for each mic (so i can edit them individually). what software/hardware do i need to make this possible? cheers |

beauty, cheers fellas. i'd like to have a crack at recording drums at home eventually, so i guess i'll need at least 6 inputs? at the moment i'm trying use a room mic & handheld mic for vocals ... and struggling. this site has me shooting for the stars, lol |

the firepod comes highly recommended for beginers. After that you'll need a drum mic kit, probably run you around $400.

unless you are going to mix and balance live instead of in the daw the mfgrs say they have inputs which means they have a place to make a connection the number of inputs you can use is often a lot less |
