Default Hello! And Help plz

First off, hello!
I have just sighned up and this is my first thread.
though i do have a slight problem, you see, im a first time user with adobe audition, and i would like some help on how to use the mic i have.
Its a crap mic, but ime just using for now to see if i like audition. it is a pc mic wich plugs into the mic slot, next to the earphone slot.

basicly, could you tell me on how to set my mic up onto audition.

Hey.
ive used adobe audition a few times now
and you should be able to select your 'audio driver' by going
Edit>Audio Hardware Setup
and then selection which audio drive you want to use
My is set to adobe audition windows sound

2x Legacy AXIS1 Small Diaphragm Condensors [To be upgraded to Rode M3 microphones soon]
Thats all for now... BUt i do have Pretty bad GAS at the moment

thank you for your comment,
my driver is set as audition windows sound also.
and by you saying 'bass' do you meant do i have a bass speaker?

Dont worry about that, its just my signiature

i did find a section of the forum for adobe audition user's so you could check that out

All i have done is plug my mic in select the right audio driver arm the first track for recording and then record

What kind of mic are you using?

oh lol,

well i really don't know, its one of those like £1.50 ones you can get, really cheap, as i said, only using it to see if i like audition.
