hi folks, must admit i'm a little lost here as far as recording my guitar using a digitech rp150 multi-effects with a usb connection to my computer.seemed like it would be pretty straightforward but is turning out to be anything but, when i finally did get some signal it was too low to work with so i tried it another way but everyone seems to say that recording into the usb is the way to go.I have all the latest upgrades to the pedal.I'm using audition 1.5 and a sound blaster live card which i know is pretty crappy but if the effects pedal is doing the converting from analog to digital and the card is mainly for playback i thought i could get away with it.any idea's what's going on anyone?Does audition support a usb connection?Appreciate any help.thanks folks

While not exactly an "an audio interface" since it's more of a "guitar only audio interface" the rules should apply to both your RP150 and any standard audio interface. I would definitely keep your stock soundcard out of there as much as possible. (Preferably, you would never use it).
I'd recommend you check out this article:Soundcard Troubleshooting 101 Brandon
