Default Can Audition "clean up" messy tracks?

I am trying to mix a live recording where drums were recorded pre-mixed into two channels. Both these tracks picked up a TON of other sounds - vocals, bass, guitar, you name it, all sounding muffled, but loud enough.

Same thing, is with vocal tracks - picked up other instruments, acoustic guitar (to a smaller degree). Cello track is same way - el. cello was recorded like el. guitar - plugged into an amp, which was miked and recorded that way. The mic picked up the rest of the band, too!

Is there some kind of magic in Audition that would help me clean this up somehow?

I've used Audition/CoolEdit for year and think it's a great program but not the tool for this task. I don't know what is - maybe melodyne aditor when it comes out (supposed to be out soon), but even that will not do a perfect job of this. The easiest solution is to re record and get better separation. Sorry I couldn't help more.
