Default Audition 3 Mic problem

I'm running Adobe Audition 3.0 with a samson c03 condenser mic powered by an mxl mic mate. I installed the asio4all driver yesterday and everything was working perfectly fine until I rearranged my office today hooked everything back up and went to record. now it's like the mic is in overdrive or something. seems like it's too much meaning that when I start talking into the mic it starts sounding fizzy after a minute. any ideas?

Sounds like your mic, not the program. try the mic through another sound source and see if it still does it.

I've got this sorted out already I just downloaded the KX3537 sound drivers and that solved the problem right away. I've also stopped using audition and went to sonar 8(much better imo). Thanks for the suggestion though.

You probably need to monitor externally and change AAs monitor setting to external
