Default Audition 1.5 Lexicon Lambda Static Problem

Hello ,

A few weeks ago I bought the Lexicon Lambda interface. At first I got Cool Edit Pro 2 from a friend of mine to record with. Later on I got Adobe Audition 1.5 but they have the same following problem: Everytime I record a track, and playback the track while recording a new track the sound of the previous track turns into noisy static. I checked all cable connections and settings so that shouldn't be the problem (unless I've done it wrong). I've read a lot on this forum and there are a few having the same problem but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone know to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Nick

A guy who isn't ready to join told me to tell you this. It appears he works for Lexicon, but I can't say for sure. It may be kiddie porn for all I know (probably not!...hopefully not!)

Cool Edit and Adobe Audition have pretty specific setup menus. Here is a link to the Lexicon Omega setup guide for Cool Edit/ Adobe Audition: http://www.lexiconpro.com/omega_help...oltracks.aspx; setup for the Lambda is nearly identical.

Found the fix...after calling Lexicon

Set tracks as 32 bit,not 16 bit

Set for 32 bit

Set 3 byte packed PCM

Works great now
