Adobe Audition midi trouble

Hi.

This is my first post here! It's been just a couple of days since i got my first recording gear. A M-Audio Fast Track Pro. I'm now trying to record a midi session in Adobe Audition, and I can't get any sound out of it. Drivers and everything is ok. Have allready recorded a couple of songs with mic and guitar, but can't get the midi working jet. When i press edit/keyboard and midi shortcuts the midi responses to the shortcuts.

i've tried MIDI before on AA3.

have you selected first MIDI sound sample to your sequencer?

try it first.


but if you cant make sounds, use FL studio. >.<

I love AA and have used it for years. However when it comes to MIDI, AA sucks ass. I'd suggest using something else for MIDI.

I am experiencing 2 problems in AA3. I am using the Dimension Pro plug in synthesiser. First of all, when I bring it up in AA3 it only shows 1/3 of the screen. Same problem with Cakewalk Studio Instruments. When I use the AA3 Midi Sequencer or my M-Audio 25 the piano sound is mixed in with the D Pro sounds and I cant figure out how to remove it. Has any one else had this problem?
