Room Mic Test

My roommate asked me for some metal type guitar samples for the "sleng teng riddim", I agreed knowing full well that it was going to primarily turn in to a room mic test on the drums.
So here we have #1 close miced kit no room mic,
#2 close miced kit with the room mic and
#3 with the sleng teng riddim crap, woops I meant to just think that(joke). It kinda drove me nuts after a while.
There are no eq's added or adjusted, this is just the recorded tracks with a bit of compression added to the snare and kick-in on the way in.
I know there's timing issues with da friggin sleng teng riddim, but I don gidda damb. Meng.
The room mic I added was setup at head height at the top stair of a big hollowey echoey untreated stairwell. Probably about 15 feet from floor to ceiling and and about 20 feet from the drum kit.
