DCstudio10 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default "You are running out of CPU power" POPS, CLIKCS and HELL IN PT

So I know that CPU is in the Setup>playback engine

so it was at 95% and I raised it up to 99% by switching to "3 processes"

H/W buffer size is at 64 samples. I only have on track and a master stereo track.

No RTAS plug ins. and when i try to record or even press play it gives me this message

"you are running out of CPU power. Remove some RTAS plug-ins or increase the CPU Usage Limit in the playback Engine dialog.(-9128)"

My PC perifals are here Here it is picture by DCstudio10 - Photobucket

and here is a pic of the messeg CPU picture by DCstudio10 - Photobucket

THANK YOU HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

DCstudio10,
I get the same issues when there are other things running in the background. Virus protection is a main cause of my problems. I disconnect wireless connections then deactivate the norton AV then open Pro tools 8mp and it works very well. Your machine is more powerful than mine so pt8 should run no problem. guitar rig plugin is also a cpu killer, beware.
Also max your ram as soon as you can. Hope this is some kind of help.

g.

i posted this same question because my friend was having this same issue, u might have to find the post but i believe you have to disable the plugs that are not in use so they do not eat the memory. check earlier posts and im sure youll find mine.
