Exclamation ProTools won't recognize a newly installed plug in!

Hey everyone,

I recently purchased Autotune EFX. Which is a scaled down version of the full version. The installation went fine, it assigned the .rsr and the .dpm files to the proper folder. For some reason though, it won't show up in my plugins menu.

It also recognizes the plugin during the protools start up screen, when it initializes all of them.

Im running Pro Tools 7.1 on XP, with an M Box

Has anyone had this problem before?

Thanks!

Have you checked all the drop down menus?

Also if inserting on a stereo track you may have to look in 'multi-mono'.

Try listing plug-ins by manufacturer and look for antares.

Did you reboot comp b4 launching PT? I seem to remember when I installed Auto tune I had to reboot for it to finish installing.

Problem solved!

For those who may be experiencing the same problem. You need to make sure you have the most up to date runtime files for XP. I was able to diagnose this right from the Antares site. They even give you a link to download the file at.
