 ProTools 8/Vista/Inserts/latency
Hi all! I don't know if this is an issue or a fact, but I can't use inserts/sends while recording without getting serious latency-problems. Could it be Vista related? BTW, I use Digi002. Cheers, Patric  |

My PC gave in some time ago and my laptop doesn't have Firewire, so at the moment I'm using another PC for my projects that is in another city. Sorry, but I don't have the specs for it. The "standard" PC I'm using now was bought new about 6 months ago. Works well except some occasional buffering-hickups. I have to make inserts (channel being recorded as well as master inserts) inactive, otherwise substancial latency occurs, not while recording but in playback. Any ideas? |
