Ok so i am running pro-tools 8 m-powered on my mac and i have the profire 26/26 hooked up through firewire(obviously). I am recording a drumkit and can get all the signals of the mics into pro-tools and record them no problem but when i plug my headphones into the pro-fire to hear the drums while playing along i get nothing. I've looked through the routing screen but not exactly sure what i'm doing wrong.

Do you have the input sliders up/adjusted on the individual channels in the profire's software mixer ? They can be adjusted and will not have a impact on the signal level being recorded in the daw. I think the monitor outputs (usually channel 1 and 2) need to be routed to the mixer. I don't own it the 2626, I'm just looking through the on-line pdf manual and thought this might help. |

You can use the software mixer to directly monitor your drums while recording. |
