First on M Powered Can you use other MIDIs such as Korg and Roland instead of M Audio? And what is the typical set up for an M Powered Recording Studio? Is it worth it for just starting out? What are the limitations? LE Do you still only have to use Pro Tools Equipment or you can use other equipment by other companies? Also what is the typical set up for LE? |

You can use any midi device you want. You just have to plug the midi port into an m-audio device that is supported by m powered pro tools. Pro tools always has to recognize a supported device before the software will start. Same with LE. Must have an Mbox, Mbox 2 or 003. Le comes with more options and a bigger bundle, but overall the M powered is cheaper. |
