Pro Tools Hybrid Issue

Hey everyone,

I'm relatively new to Pro Tools (M Powered 7) and I have something that's driving me absolutely crazy!

This is probably so simple it'll seem stupid to some of you but bear with me. I have the music production toolkit and I'm trying to use Hybrid, but I can't do anything on it because whenever I hit play, it changes the settings. It's hitting the compare button automatically and turning the envelope down in doing so. This is driving me absolutely mad because it's making the sound all wrong.

Any help would be much appreciated, again thank you for the support. Sorry for the noobness.

I'm unfamiliar with the plugin, but it sounds like you might have some automation recorded. To see if this is the case, in your mix window, under the i/o assignments, click on "auto read" and change it to "off." Do the settings still change when you hit play?
