Hi Everyone. I have been a music lover for decades. I`ve owned several Hammonds and Leslies. Now I am trying to run PC software. I purchased an mbox 2 bundled with speakers mic and software goodies inc protools 7.3 le.
I now know the support for this product is a joke and so far I have not found it easy. I also like to write in finale note pad although I cannot get it to play back through th mbox. does anyone know how to get all sounds through the mbox sound device. I am still building my studio. ![]() |

I'm not a Pro Tools (or Finale) user so I really can't help much. I moved this thread to the Pro Tools forum where it should get more attention.
Welcome to the forum! Brandon

i'm not entirely sure about Finale (very little experience with it), but Pro Tools is now compatible with Sibelius -- i'm sure you didn't want to hear that, though...
i suppose you can export MIDI out of Finale (???) and import it into PT, though i'm not entirely sure what you want to accomplish in doing this, other than to print the MIDI to audio. or do you only want to monitor through the Mbox?? Quote:
how do you mean?? Pro Tools arguably has the easiest learning curve of the main DAWs (in my experience, at least) -- but to each his own. i'm sure the more you use it, the easier it will be.is there anything in particular that you're having difficulty with??
