Question Opening ProTools Session on Different Computer

I recorded a session in a studio onto my external and then tried to open it up on my computer at home and all the tracks are all grey-tinted and when i hit play the track cursor moves but no audio comes through. I dont know what to do because I need to do some mixing at home real soon and cant do it if i cant hear the track.

Sounds like ProTools doesn't know where to look for the files. It should prompt you to tell it where they are when you open it up. If it doesn't, look in the manual for "reconnect files"... or something. I don't remember how you do it manually.

It needs to load the wave files for the individual tracks. Make sure you copy the audio folder along with the session file.
