Hey guys, I've been recording for about a year and have not found a fix. currently I record vocals with one headphone on and one off my ear because of the latency of the mbox2. Has anyone found a way to make your vocal playback during recording be on-time? It's very hard to do perfectly timed background vocals as it is. James |

You have a mix knob on your mbox. Mute the channel in Pro Tools and use the mix knob to monitor the input signal (latency free) and the playback signal, and find a balance that suits you. Also, any buffer size more than 128 will induce latency. Plug-ins will also induce latency, specifically master plug ins on the master fader, so make sure they are inactive, not just bypassed.
