 Mbox 2 problem
I have had an Mbox 2 for about a year now and had no problems recording when I first got it, but it's been a few months since we have recorded together (I mainly use it for mixing), I have upgaded from 7.4 to 8 and now as soon as I press record enable there is a lot of white noise or hiss. maybe try to reinstall pro tools and check that your OS is compatible with PT8?

Try deleting preferences and databases

Hi there, I'm new to this forum. I've had a similar problem myself. This occured for me when I moved house, re-set up my gear and used un-balanced instead of balanced cabling. Ensure your cabling from the M-Box to the amp is balanced. |
