Default MBox 2 help (Mic feedback in only left headphone)

Hi everyone, I'm starting a studio in my home, and took the first steps a couple of days ago by purchasing the MBox 2 with Protools 7.3.1, I'm using a Macbook Pro 10.4

Everything is hooked up correctly, but whenever I record using a mic, it only picks up on the left headphone, and I can't figure out why.

At first I couldn't get it to work at all on ProTools, so I tried GarageBand, and got it working, but only out of the left headphone.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Your M-Box probably has two inputs... input 1 is usually taken to be left, input 2 is usually taken to be right. You can pan them in your DAW (you need to get this working with ProTools by the way... that was what it was designed for, and its what you paid for. Don't settle for Garageband!). You might find a mono button on the M-Box that allows you to use direct monitoring (practically zero latency) by bypassing your computer.
