Mad phasing issues with Rewire

Whenever I am performing MIDI through Reason, my computer plays back not only the aux return in Pro Tools (with the 512 sample HW buffer) but also the audio coming out of reason (without the delay) which causes mad phasing issues and it sounds flanged. How do I make it so Reason does not play back audio when performing in Rewire mode? The audio sounds fine during playback, its just during the performance that it sounds like ass.

You asked me to post on this one so here I am. Unfortunately, I don't use Pro Tools or Reason. I don't have a clue where to start.

I don't understand clearly what you are trying to do, but my experience is that as long as REason is running and connected in Rewire mode, then it will play when your master application plays.

I fixed the problem by disabling the MIDI input in Reason. What was happening was Reason was receiving MIDI messages as soon as I hit the keys and playing back; then it was receiving MIDI messages from Pro Tools again 512 samples later and playing back again... so by disabling the MIDI input in Reason, it now only gets MIDI form Pro Tools.
