M-Box as Windows soundcard

Brandon, I was under the impression that the m-box was essentially a sound card, so I thought that I could use my monitors as speakers for the computer when watching videos. I got sound from using win media player, but thats about it. Is there a to do this?

As for watching videos, I can't say for sure. I'm not a Pro Tools user. They have a proprietary way of doing things (like everything) and it plays by few of the "rules" the rest of the world plays by.

If you can get sound out of Windows Media Player through your M-box, I guess this means you can use M-box as a Windows soundcard for all sounds. I'd go into Windows > Control Panels > Sound and Audio devices and make sure you have defined the M-box as your default audio output.
