 M-Box original configuration problem?
Each time I fire up (or try to) Pro-tools, (v6.9 on my old G4 with OSX.4) I get a message "Digidesign hardware is in use by another application" with an error number (-1133) even though nothing else should be using the M-box. I need to edit a couple tracks I recorded on my old Pro-tools rig before I switched to Logic, so does anyone here have any idea to get around this error message. I have restarted the program and entire Machine repeatedly, and it is still doing the same thing. Cheers  |

Hmmm go to sound preferences and check that the system is not set to run through mbox. restart. If that no good try deleting prefs and digidesign databases. wavecache files can corrupt as well and are good to delete.
