Just switched pro logic pro 2 PT Need Helpp

I can import audio tracks and play them back thats not a problem. But I cant figure out how 2 record. The 003 rack whnen i try to record it doesnt pic up my voice or anything. Im running a mxl v69 mic through a pre amp to the 003 box if anyone can help id apreciate it

What input are you plugging into? There are preamps on the 003. Are you using an external preamp? Create a track in Pro Tools and set it's input to the input you are using. For example, if you plugged into input 1 (which is a preamp), then set the input to 1. If you plugged an external preamp into one of the line inputs, then set the input to that same number (5, 6, etc.). Also, you need to set the output (should be 1-2) and be sure to record enable the track (little red button with an 'R' on it).
