Thumbs down Issue with Panning

Hello Everyone,

I am having an issue with panning and getting it set up right....I use ProTools 7.1 m-powered with a MobilePre USB interface...here is my problem

I have my whole audio system hooked up to a Sony Mini Hi-Fi component system. The unusual think about the system is that both speakers not only get the typical Red/Black wires, but also Blue/White.....Black/White are for the low-end speaker while the Blue/White are for the high end tweeters. Here is what happens...whenever I pan RIGHT....the music goes to the RIGHT tweeter, but the LEFT speaker....this happens vice versa too...it's weird.

Now I have done all the common sense stuff. I checked all the connection and even switched some to make them intentionally wrong...same problem occurs. I checked the System Prefs for the Sound settings as well as the Interface settings...everything is set up normal, I just can't figure out how to fix it. I am currently mixing a piece and when I pan the lows and highs get separated and it sucks. If any of you have any advice I would love to hear it. Thanks
