I have a Pro Tools LE set up with Digi 002 rack & M-Audio Octane, along with a Berhinger Powerplay Pro 8 Headphone Amp. Can someone tell me where on the back of the Digi 002 Rack you hook L & R outputs to the Behringer Main Input Right (Balanced) & Left (Mono).
Also, can you go through the steps on how to set this up in Pro Tools for more than one headphone, most likely 4. Some one tried to explain this over the phone sometime ago and it was way over my head. It seemed like a lot of work just to get sound out of the headphone amp. I am new at this and the terminology is sometimes difficult to understand, so if you can go slowly through the steps I would appreciate it. Thanks! |

I have experience with the Digi001, but not the 002. Coould you elaborate more on teh setup? How Many outputs does the 002 have at the back? Exactly how does PT work with both the M-Audio and 002?

Here are the steps to configure your system successfully: 1. Connect your Digi Analog OUT 3-4 to Behringer`s Main Input 1 (Left + Right) 2. Connect your Digi Analog OUT 5-6 to Behringer`s Main Input 2 (Left + Right) 3. Now, in your PT session, create two Stereo Aux Channels, these are going to be your Cue Mixes Busses 1 and 2 (headphone mix 1 and 2). 4. In the PT Mixer, select your first Cue Mix Channel, select input stereo bus 1-2 and output 3-4 of the Digi 002. 5. In your second Cue Mix Channel, select input stereo bus 3-4 and output 5-6 of the Digi 002. Now, just use your aux send in any channel you want to send signal to the Busses 1-2 or 3-4 (it will show signal on the Cue Mix Channel and in the powerplay input). Then, in your powerplay, you can select between input 1 and input 2, in every channel. Hope it helps. Best Regards. Fernando |
