Default help with tempo changes in pro tools

Hey, all. This is my first post here on the forum, and i have a simple question for you guys. I am doing sessions tomorrow, and must change tempo/time signatures within the track. can anyone explain in layman's terms how to achive this multiple times? I'll be needing to do this within the session around 6 times for each song. I know it can be done, just not how to do it.
Thanks alot guys!

Pretty simple actually. In the edit window, select the bars you want to change, then click the "tempo ruler" to change for the selected bars.. Same procedure for time sig. if you dont have the rulers up goto "view" on the menu bar at the top and open them.

thanks, kenny!
you really saved my tail there. it was all good once i got it down. the band had 18 tempo/meter changes thru the song! wow. three more like this...
you're a lifesaver!

also figured out you can just go to the desired bar, click it with the selector tool, and just change the tempo/meter like you would at the start of the session. it'll create a new change right where you put it!

i have another question for ya, regarding drum tracks.
i have an mbox 2 and it has 2 inputs on it. i usually use a shure beta52 for the kick drums and a 58 for the snare (or 57, depending). i can get a pretty decent tone with the 58, because it tends to pick up more of the cymbals. can't mix the cymbals because it's always on the same track as the snare is. i'm saving for the digi002 rack, though in the meantime was considering using a LDC for the snare to maybe pick up more of the cymbals. is that feasible, and do you have any tips to make my life a bit easier?
thanks man!
