Sorry dude there must be something in it for everyone. Talk to the church organist or ask if there would be someone in the congregation who would do it. This way you would get the experience of recording piano. Don't forget that there is no copyright on most hymns just like there is no copyright on most folk songs. I wouldn't do something that has no emotional attachment for me. The least I would create a piano loop for would be $150 cdn. $75 cdn for a keyboard piano sound. BTW the vugarity of your last post makes this even less appealing.

Why would anyone want to help if you don't give a flying shit your own self? Do you think that if you came across as a bit more concerned, as well as a bit more professional, you might get a lot more professional and concerned response to your request?

I'm not really sure where to go about finding background piano music. It's not exactly as simple as tossing any old piano part behind him. The piano is an expressive instrument and can range from pretty to total suicide. That's when it starts getting tricky. Jerry Lee Lewis "Great Balls of Fire" isn't exactly appropriate for all church gigs nor is any Nine Inch Nails piano production. One thought would be to see if anyone at the church would like volunteer. Churches always seem to have someone who can play the piano and that person would know what you were looking for. Just a thought. Brandon |
