DCstudio10 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Exclamation Bounce to disk cant bounce with MP3 (PRO TOOLS)

I want to put my final mix on a mp3 format but don’t have the software what do I need to let pro tools bounce the recording to a MP3 format so I then can post stuff up on here. When I try to do it it gives me this message" The MP3 option cannot be enabled because: Module initializing failed for MP3.dill. The MP3 demo period may have expired." WHAT DO I DO????

You have to buy the mp3 encoder for Pro Tools. I know, it's kinda dumb.

For now, you can download dBpoweramp, which will let you use its mp3 encoder for the first 21 days. You can just bounce the session down to .wav, and convert that to mp3.

Talking Re: Bounce to disk cant bounce with MP3 (PRO TOOLS)

another trick is to use itunes. Import your WAV track into itunes and there should be a way to save it as an MP3 file afterwards. Haven't done it in a while but it definately works and itunes is free. Try googling it....

The iTunes converter is decent, if you use the advanced settings.

I use RazorLame or Foobar2000 on PC.

I too very much dislike iTunes as a media player.

Another option, if you've got a cd ripper but not an audio converter, is to burn the wavs to an audio CD, then rip the cd to mp3s. Wastes a CD, but it is another option.

+1 for dBpowerAmp, it's ideal being able to convert with a right click on the file.
