Additional inputs please!

Hi everyone. I am using a Profire 2626 and Pro Tools M-Powered 8. Here is my problem: I was trying to track drums the other night, but inputs 5-8 were getting no signal. When I tried to change the inputs in Pro Tools in the mix window, it only gave me the option of 1-4. My question is this: What do I need to do to get my additional inputs to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

my first thought is that your I/O settings within Pro Tools may not be set up to utilize all 8 inputs. i've had that problem before when switching interfaces. try this:

go to setup - I/O, then go to the 'input' tab and see what is listed. what i usually do is simply hit the 'default' button and it gives me all the I/Os. you can do it manually as well if you don't see more than 4 inputs listed.

if that doesn't do it, let me know, we'll see what else might be up.

are you trying to record at 96khz by chance???
