Chris, if acoustic isnt your thing, it should be, you got a great voice and it works well with the acoustic guitars...By the way, you can never pan hard left/right or have too many acoustic(or electric) tracks in my opinion!! Get some gear and keep on recording, man...and by the way, I too have waisted too much time doing "other things" than recording, although I have made a couple of CD's the past decade...my plan is to have 10 the next decade!!!

Thanks a lot. I'm mainly writing with acoustics right now to accomodate being able to play them by myself at first at coffee shops, etc. Then work into a full plugged in once I can recruit or hire others, and get decent sounding amps and guitars.

Since I won't be joining a band again (unless some amazing change happens) - been there done that, been disappointed - I'm working on my own solo project. If I had done this 15 years earlier and had the money to simply pay others to play what I told them, I'd probaby have been making records by now.
