Default Death Metal Thanksgiving

I'm new here and I'm new to recording too. I saw the thanksgiving song contest and thought it would be pretty cool to write a thanksgiving death metal song.

The song itself makes no sense, but it was pretty fun to write and record.

Knowing that the death metal style of vocals is pretty hard to understand I include the lyrics:

Turkey eating baby - (*note: is it a turkey eating a baby, or a baby eating a turkey? no one knows! hahahaha)
Pre heating oven basting
Covered in gravy

Plotting beast within
Its flesh begins dry
Covered in gravy

Carnage flesh carvage
Cryogenic bird feast
Covered in gravy

Spoons forks and knives
Tools for the slaughter
Covered in gravy

Rip the giblets out
Eat them raw

Grind the bones to dust
Sprinkle it on rust
Pumpkin pie galore
Turkey stuffing gore

Bowels seek retribution
Stomach pollution

Evacuate the man hole
Rectal explosion

...just out of curiosity (and since i'm new to recording vocals) what kind of EQ/effects would you put on these kind of vocals?

yeah i really liked how the guitars came out (although i messed up a few times).

Also, I only played the guitars on that song, I didn't do the vocals, my friend did.

yeah we haven't recorded the bass yet (I don't play bass, the vocalist does otherwise i would've done it right there). If we do decide to record it though i'll be sure to post it.

as far as equipment goes, i'm a college student so it's pretty limited:

vocals: AKG perception 100
guitars: line 6 toneport ux2 1 guitar track panned left, 1 panned right
drums: acoustica beatcraft
mixing: acoustica mixcraft 2

Its a good mix in my opinion. Doesn't really need bass even.
has a good ampunt of low-end anyway.
I might try something with just acoustic guitar
if I get sometime to do a thanksgiving song
I can't touch you're Death Metal.
maybe someday

Classic!! haha. The recording is good, I can even make out the lyrics without the words written!! thats quite rare for Death metal, surely?. I have had my ears syringed lately tho!

The only thing that is going to make me give a lower vote rating is that it is not a full song. I hope you are submitting more than this . Other than that, it's alright.

I'll reserve my vote for a few days to see what happens with your submission
